Art-making can be expressive, inventive, exploratory, fun, and healing. I take the time to learn about each client's abilities and interests through a combination of tactile and sensory techniques. We’ll look at famous works of art and discover different styles and modalities of artmaking - and engage with a variety of different materials - to see what sparks creativity! My main goal is to encourage the process and help my clients express their creative voice, in a safe and encouraging environment. Whether depicting abstract forms with paint or clay, finding a rythm on a homemade drum, or honing in on the basics of figure drawing - my focus is to encourage clients to make their own choices and grow into the artists they would like to be.

Lessons are one-on-one: custom tailored to each client's interests and for all levels of abilities.
Lessons occur either in the client's home, or a public setting such as a park or community center.

Example activities include: learning the foundations of mixing colors, developing line drawing skills, and using our senses to explore objects and interpret them through visual art with a variety of mediums (using clay, paints, crayons, markers, tape, paper, canvas, cardboard, and more)!
